Locations
A location is a physical place where stock is held or work happens — a warehouse, a manufacturing site, a fulfillment center. Inventory is always tracked per location, so locations are what make a transfer meaningful: moving stock from one location to another is the whole point of an inventory transfer.

Relationships
- The ship-to of a purchase order.
- The work site of a work order and the production site of a production order.
- The fulfillment location of a sales order.
- The scope of every entry in the materials and finished-goods ledgers, and the source and destination of transfers.
A location referenced by any order or ledger entry can't be deleted; deactivate it instead.
