Bill of Materials

Covers BOMs — the composition that links input materials and/or input SKUs (with quantities) to an output SKU. A BOM is a recipe: one entry per output SKU. Read by cost-cascade and WO workflows; written from the BOM editor.

Writes​

  1. Create BOM — Triggered from the BOM page or BOM Detail (for a SKU that doesn't yet have one). Creates the BOM composition for an output SKU.
  2. Update BOM — Triggered from BOM Detail. Replaces the composition for an output SKU (add / remove / change quantities of input materials and SKUs).
  3. Delete BOM — Triggered from BOM Detail. Removes the BOM for an output SKU.

Reads​

  1. List BOMs — Triggered from the BOM page. Returns one row per output SKU that has a BOM defined.
  2. Get BOM for a SKU — Triggered from BOM Detail and from cost-cascade workflows. Returns the composition (input materials + input SKUs with quantities) for one output SKU.
